Free Mary Magdalene Festival for women and men of all beliefs

Fay Barratt and the Mary Magdalene School of Wisdom warmly invite you to join them for a day of beauty, music, dance, story, art and grace to celebrate the Festival of Mary Magdalene.

You may wish, as many of us do, to start the day with brunch in the Monastery’s Welcome Café.

Full Programme

12 to 1pm, please join us for all or part of this hour of silence dedicated to Mary Magdalene.

1.10 to 2pm The premier performance of ‘Alive in Her Story’ by Pamela Gaunt storyteller and priestess.

2.15 to 3.45pm Sacred Celebration with words, music, dance and anointing.

We have an absolutely incredible line-up of divinely inspired, live music, certain to lift the spirits & heal the soul.

  • Bhaktandana and Jasmeen – Multi instrumental, masterful, mantra. bhajans, shakti, bliss love.
  • David Hamshire reading form his new, accessible translation of the Gospel of Mary.
  • Gulcin Ulas Bulut beautiful mesmerising Sufi singer
  • Amy Leticia singer -songwriter with the healing voice
  • Joanna Ferret exquisite sacred dancer
  • Grainne Gordon and Ulanah Morris song from the deep soul.
  • Leah and Peter Findlay entwining romantic and sacred love.
  • The Pilgrims Community of the MM School of Wisdom, anointing with sacred oils.

Some of the musician’s CDs and prints of Fay’s sacred paintings will be on sale.
