What's On & Events

at the Monastery

We are open to the public almost every day, from 11 am to 4 pm, except Saturdays and Bank Holidays. Refreshments are available in The Victorian Pantry, you can browse through all the amazing items in our delightful shop, and you can watch some films about The Monastery in our Video Room. There is also free on-site parking.

The building is very occasionally partly closed because of scheduled events. On very rare occasions, the entire building may be closed. Please note the following dates.

Tuesday 24th October 2017: The Great Nave will be closed but the rest of the building remains open.
Monday 30th October 2017: The Great Nave will be closed but The Victorian Pantry, The Gift Shop and Video Room will still be open. Visitors will be directed by volunteers at the main Welcome Wing entrance.
Wednesday 1st November 2017: The Great Nave will be closed but The Victorian Pantry, The Gift Shop and Video Room will still be open. Please use the Heritage Corner entrance.
Friday 3rd November 2017: The Great Nave will be closed but the rest of the building remains open.
Friday 10th November: the entire building will be closed.
