About Renata

Renata has been a Focaliser of Sacred Circle Dances since 1993. She first trained in the Community of Findhorn, Scotland, with an English resident of the Community called Anna Barton, who was one of the first devotees of Bernhard Wosien, the founder of the Sacred Circle Dance Movement.

Since then, Renata has taught courses in São Paulo and in several States throughout Brazil; her Basic Training Course has remained highly successful and distinctive since 2004. It frequently focuses on the annual Findhorn Community Sacred Dance Festival, to where she regularly takes groups.

She was a special guest-teacher, focusing on dances from Brazil at the Summer Festival in Germany organized by Friedel Kloke in 2010. She has trained in Sacred Circle Dance with Friedel Kloke (from the Netherlands) and danced several times with Gabriele Wosien (from Germany) in Findhorn and Brazil, in addition to organising their workshops and courses in São Paulo. She has danced numerous times with Peter Vallance, Gabriele Wosien, Friedel Kloke, Mandy de Winter, Judy King, Nanni Kloke, Laura Shannon, Suzane Bartomolei, Andy Bettis and with Nawal Gadalla, Steve Kotanzky, Gwin Peterdi, Stephan Freedman amongst others.

She is co-organiser of the ‘Encontro Brasileiro de Danças Circulares Sagradas‘ (Brazilian Festival of Sacred Circle Dance), an annual event that has been taking place in São Paulo since 2002 and which brings together around 250 people. She is co-author and coordinator of the book ‘Danças Circulares Sagradas uma Proposta de Educação e Cura’, published by Editora TRIOM in 1998 and now in its 2nd edition. She is the editor of Anna Barton’s book, ‘Circle Dance, Dancing the Sacred Way’.

Renata is an associate of ‘TRIOM Editora e Centro de Estudos’ founded in 1991 with the mission of supporting the raising of spiritual consciousness. She is a facilitator of the Transformation Game (box, group and FCP version for consultants) accredited by Inner Links (USA). She is a founding member of CETRANS, Centre for Transdisciplinary Studies.
