Self-Love Raving is the ultimate blend of brilliant tunes, self-compassion and permission to be the real you! This is not your average Rave. This is a celebration of you as an individual, and a sharing of your passion for music and dance with other women, in the most incredible venue!

Your power-house host & DJ Caroline Kelf (DJ Flourish) is a master at helping women to let go and express themselves freely. Her fun & rebellious energy is infectious and all of her Raves feel extremely safe and inclusive.

Taking place in the iconic Monastery in Gorton, Manchester, Caroline will take you on a musical journey of feet-stomping beats, spine-tingling vocals, piano vibes and ecstasy-inducing drops. This venue has the most incredible energy and will be the foundations of what will be the MOST magical experience. It’s also really easy to access with ton’s of free parking and public transport links.

Using headphones to create a safer, more intimate experience, you’ll be “having it large” in no time. And the fun doesn’t stop there, included in your ticket price is a 3 hour Rave, Glitter face paints for all, and access to a luxury chill-out area with a fully stocked alcohol-free bar.

Why alcohol free? Because even though it can feel uncomfortable, it’s easier to access your True Self when you don’t drink – and that’s empowering. Plus everyone in the room is on the same level which helps you feel more relaxed and a part of something special.

In fact, every part of this Rave is geared to creating a special kind of energy. In the lead up you’ll receive heart-felt guidance from Caroline to help you feel safe and ready to rave. On the night you’ll be welcomed by a team of women who’ve totally got your back. And during the rave you’ll be celebrated and cheered on as you express yourself in your true glory. And when we express ourselves fully – magic happens!

Important info

Accessibility

The venue has plenty of free onsite parking, with street parking also available, and is 5 minutes by rail from Manchester Piccadilly. There are also plenty of tram and bus stops. More details included in booking confirmation.

Age Limit

This is an adults only event and as this is an immersive female empowerment experience the suggested minimum age is 25. The music being played is mixed however there is always a heavy feature on music from the 90’s and 00’s so please bear that in mind when you book!

Solo Ravers

Solo Ravers are more than welcome, in fact, attending an event like this is a huge act of Self Love. Not only is it an act of bravery, you can also totally drop into your own zone on the dancefloor. We understand that it can feel daunting to walk into a crowd alone, so Solo Ravers are welcome to arrive 45 minutes before group ravers where you’ll be greeted by the friendly team and you can soak up the vibe.

Dress Code

Wear what you like! No rules, no comparison – just DO YOU! More to follow as we lead up to the event….what you decide to wear is a massive act of Self Love.

Self Love Accessory

Included in your ticket price is a Glitter Face Paint to enhance your rave experience.

Non Refundable Tickets

All tickets are non-refundable from purchase, so if you buy a ticket and can no longer attend, we are not able to issue any money back. We will not be facilitating any official resale processes for tickets.

Alcohol Free Bar

All alcohol will be removed from the bar and pumps will be covered. There will be a good selection of non alcoholic drinks to purchase, further details to follow.

No phones on the Dancefloor

There will be a strict no phones on the dancefloor policy. This is to aid the feeling of safety and freedom to let go. You are welcome to take photographs in the selfie area, chill out area and away from the dancefloor.

Official Photography

There will be a videographer and photographer onsite for the event, and they will be very discreet. You will have the opportunity to opt out of being filmed or photographed at any time, provisions will be made on the night to ensure this happens.

Creating a Safe Space

This event is designed as a safe space for women. We have made every effort to bring together an all-female team to run the event on the night, this includes the bar staff and support staff. We are working closely with the venue to bring in female technicians (AV, sound, lighting) and female security, but as these are contracted to a third party, this cannot be guaranteed. If you have any questions before booking your ticket, get in touch and we would love to help!

Silent Disco Headphones

For this particular event we are using Silent Disco Headphones. Feedback from previous attendees is that headphones add a level of safety to their experience and an ability to let go. It also helps with conection to Caroline as you can hear all of her prompts and guidance.

Flashing Lights & Strobe Lighting

For this event we will not have flashing lights and strobes. There will be some images rotating around the room and soft lighting but nothing too full on.
