Have you been to see the Monastery yet?!
Well here’s a great reason to come on down to our brand new neighbours day!
This is warm invitation to all of our Gorton neighbours to feel very welcome to come and have a FREE cuppa on us (tea or coffee) on Sunday 31st July or Monday 1st August, 10am-4pm and discover The Monastery’s new look Welcome Café.
We’ll have some lovely special offers on in the café along with a children’s menu, free Monastery talks and mini tours at 11.30am and 1.30pm, plus garden toys and outside seating areas!
You’ll need a neighbour’s invitation & proof of local address to claim your free cuppa.* You can download an invite right here and simply flash us your phone.
Please do feel free to share the love (and the invite) with a fellow Gorton neighbour!
Entry is free and so is parking, so you’re welcome to explore the gorgeous Monastery buildings and garden whilst you’re here.
The Monastery is open every day between 10am and 4pm from Sunday to Thursday for our neighbours to enjoy. Visit the café, relax in the gardens, take time out in the daily Hour of Silence, enjoy seeing the stunning architecture and reading all about the Monastery’s history and heritage.

The Monastery is still owned by the very same charity that saved it from ruin so it could be lovingly restored and put back at the heart of the Gorton community again.
