Event Details

Led by inspiring art teacher Louise Withers of Mindful Moodling, this wonderful workshop is all about bringing out your inner artist. A safe space to explore your creativity and let your artistic confidence and imagination go wild!

Who can come?

This class is open to absolutely everyone, from beginners to advanced. If you create art of any kind, or have any UFOS (UnFinished ObjectS) in any medium – card-making , knit, sew, crochet, stitch, applique, bead, weave, paint – or any other creative pursuit that’s portable enough to bring, why not come along and be craftily social with us!

How will I benefit from the sessions?

The great news is, not only are crafts fun to do, but taking part in arts & crafts can alleviate the symptoms of anxiety, depression, loneliness and even dementia, according to very credible research. You can read about some of the remarkable mental health benefits of crafts here.

How much do the sessions cost?

The sessions are free, as is parking, although we do suggest a small donation per meet-up, to help the Monastery trust; the charity responsible for the upkeep of the Monastery buildings and grounds.

After the introductory session on Tuesday, 7th December, 2021, this group will meet on the first Thursday of every Month, from 10.30am-2.30pm.

No need to book, just turn up on the day and bring any favourite craft project with you.
