Healing Birth Services here at the Monastery with BACP-approved counsellor and doula, Hayley Dunn.

Healing Birth community support group

This monthly drop-in, stay and play group at the sanctuary, is for parents and their babies who have had distressing experiences during pregnancy, birth or postnatally. Come together with your babies to share your stories and find understanding. 

Starting 14th September, 10-11.30am 

This session repeats every 4 weeks throughout 2022, on Wednesday,  12th October, 9th November, 7th December.

FREE (donations welcome).

Healing Birth counselling sessions

This 45min session is with an accredited counsellor specialising in peri-natal mental health. It’s for anyone whose mental health has suffered as a result the birth or loss of their baby.

These free sessions are available from 12.30-1.15pm every Wednesday from 14th September, booking is essential as spaces are limited, please scroll down to the bottom of the page for contact details.

Healing Birth doula sessions

FREE 45min chat with experienced birth and post natal doula.

A chance to chat with our in-house doula about anything regarding pregnancy, birth or early parenthood. Whether you want to go over your birth-plan or get some help navigating maternity services to ensure you get the care you want, you will be given impartial, non-judgmental guidance and information. 

Free sessions from 1.30-2.15pm, every Wednesday from 14th September, booking essential as spaces are limited.
