Event Details

You are warmly invited to join Gorton Pagan Moot on 23rd June, 12-2pm, for a special Peace Mala Workshop.

You will discover what a Peace Mala is, what it represents, and you’ll create your own Peace Mala to take home.

The main aims of Peace Mala are: education for global citizenship through the promotion of understanding, respect, friendship and peace between all communities, cultures and enlightened, compassionate faiths. It aims to support human rights, confronting bullying and all forms of prejudice, while raising awareness of issues of global interdependence.

The Peace Mala movement encourages active compassion that will lead to positive changes, locally and globally. The whole project is based on the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would wish them to treat you.

The workshop will be free to attend although we will be asking for donations towards costs and the Monastery organ fund.

Booking is essential and can be done by emailing vicki.kennedy.gorton@gmail.com
