Event Details

Learn how to transmute negative emotions to live a happy, meaningful life and receive a powerful group blessing with Tibetan Buddhist monk, Geshe Lama Ahbay Tulku Rinpoche

10am – 12pm

The Monastery is blessed with the honour of hosting Geshe Lama Ahbay Tulku Rinpoche, to share with you his inimitable wisdom on the practical applications of Buddhist philosophy in our lives, promoting peace, harmony and happiness for ourselves and others.

About Geshe Lama Ahbay Tulku Rinpoche

Rinpoche is a highly respected Tibetan monk, recognised by His Holiness The Dalai Lama as the reincarnation of hermit Lama Ahbay Lobsang Tenzin Rinpoche and head of the Yega Choling Monastery. This position makes him responsible for many monks based in exile in South India.

The embodiment of kindness, compassion and great joy, everyone who meets Rinpoche immediately feels uplifted and usually has a proper belly laugh with him, as he is the archetypal laughing Buddha spreading joy and laughter wherever he goes.

He is currently on a whistle-stop tour of the UK and Europe sharing his teachings and blessings to benefit as many sentient beings as he can. We warmly recommend that you to make the time to grab this rare and precious opportunity to meet with him and share with all your friends and loved ones.

Group blessing

A powerful group blessing will be performed by Ahbay Rinpoche, for the health, happiness and wellbeing of all present and to increase the blessing of our Monastery to multiply the blessings for all who visit.

Silent meditation

Have your very own Buddhist monk penpal

There will also be the opportunity to share your contact details so Rinpoche can stay in touch with you – he has a phenomenal capacity to keep up communication with all of his friends he meets around the world by email, WhatsApp and the most wonderful Christmas cards. He will be delighted to keep in touch with you and do what he can to help you in your life.

Who is this event for?

This event is for all people young and old, of all faiths or none!

Please know that although Rinpoche’s teachings are from the Buddhist faith, his wisdom shared is always grounded in the basic, practical applications for living a happy, compassionate and joyful life. His teachings can be applied in every walk of life and he has the utmost respect and love for all faiths.
