Over his extraordinary 30-year career, Aled’s outstanding performances have made smash-hit box office history. He is the original crossover star, has sung for the Pope and the Royal Family, received an MBE, released over 30 albums – with over 10 million album sales and counting – and has over 40 silver, gold and platinum discs.

Aled has a long history of performing here at the Monastery, with CEO Elaine Griffiths remembering his first appearance with Songs of Praise, way back in the day when he was a young, motorbike jacket wearing teenager with the voice of an angel. The motorbike jacket of Aled’s youth may have been replaced with a more mature style these days, but that sublime voice remains.
