The splendour of the Great Nave at The Monastery provides a magnificent backdrop for breathtaking banquets, gala dinners and awards celebrations with formal seating for up to 450 guests. Food and hospitality is our passion, cooked with love and served with soul.

We host many awards ceremonies at The Monastery; we think there may be a natural synergy with our own penchant for picking up trophies. We're now at thirty something and still counting.

Having so many wonderful events at The Monastery creates the incredible aura which has become the hallmark of our beautiful venue.  It’s an honour when you have your Banquets & Awards with us!  Paying attention to every last detail is built into our DNA.  We want to ensure that everything is exactly as our clients request.  Taking the burden of organisation on the day is a big part of our job, working alongside the event planners to best suit our clients. Anticipating changes in requirements is also part of our job as we know that occasional ‘adjustments’ are inevitable.

Ensuring that guests at our events enjoy their day with us is paramount.  An important part of this is the quality of the food and drink we offer, as well as the speed and consistency of  service delivery.

Not only that, but you will be helping the building keep maintained and in fantastic condition by holding your event here!

If in any doubt, please contact us in advance about any transport arrangements that are proving difficult for you.  We are only a few minutes from Manchester City centre, and can easily assist with additional transport arrangements.
