Summer Family Fun Day at The Monastery | A Free Day Out for All Ages
Looking for a free family day out in Manchester this summer? Join us at The Monastery in Gorton on Sunday, July 27th, 2025, from 10am-4pm for a joyful celebration that brings together community, creativity and connection across all generations.
From little ones to grandparents, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in this wholesome summer family fun day in Manchester.
Gorton may not really have a sea, but we DO have lots of fun (hopefully some sun) and REAL (very well-cared for) donkeys!!

This event is free to attend (please reserve a complimentary ticket) and open to all, but donations to support the Monastery Charitable Trust are always deeply appreciated. Your kindness helps us preserve this sacred heritage space for generations to come.
