atOne and Spiritual Events
Imagine a place where you change the moment you walk through the door. Instead of checking in your coat, you hang up your troubles and let go of everyday concerns. A place to learn how to live. A place to find yourself. It’s a special place for ordinary people.
This former Franciscan church and friary has been deconsecrated but its sacred atmosphere still remains. The peaceful healing energy and the beauty of this space now welcomes everyone from all backgrounds, faiths and beliefs.
Visitors remark that every space in The Monastery appears to be blessed with a feeling of well-being. It’s so real, you think you can touch it.
Similarly, every event and every programme of participation and learning adopts the same high principles of well-being. Whoever you are, whatever you do, we extend a warm invitation to find yourself at the Monastery soon.

Aidan Storey
Accepting and Receiving Angelic Energy
In this talk Aidan Storey, bestselling author of ‘Angels of Divine Light’ reveals how, when we learn to open ourselves to, and connect with our Angels, we discover that they are always there to love, cherish and guide us - in the small ways as well as in the big decisions we are called to make in this life.
We will work with the Seven Healing Angels of the Rainbow light to help heal and balance our energies and our life. We live in a complex world, and yet our angels are simple, joyful energies; all we have to do is learn to accept and receive. At the end of the talk you will have the opportunity to ask Aidan all the questions you ever wanted to ask about Angels.

Pamela Young
Let There Be Light
We have all understood it as a command from God when the earth came into being. But a change in consciousness has occurred and many of us are now living in a new enlightened energy where we have 'Come into our Own' and in this 'Knowing' we are radiating the planet and all of humanity. We are now living in the realm of Revelation; uncovering our true selves as Light Beings who have the Power and the Divine Blessing to make Light visible.
Now we are truly coming together 'AT ONE' with the Universal Mind and the more we commune together with the Source the more we reveal what and who we truly are - Instruments of Light. The esoteric secrets imbued in the words 'Let There Be Light' are truly revealed when we enter our inner altered state where 'LET' has becomes a verb, a doing word that is very achievable when we put our collective minds to the only reason we are present here at this remarkable time. We are going to do a session together where we reveal our true colours by perceiving our aura through music and silence. Every thought, belief and action, colours the world, and today we are going to bring forth our highest Brilliance and send it out into the world, as well as enjoying our child like love of colouring in.
After all, our mind generates the universe and our thoughts colour it.
Pamela Young is the author of Hope Street, the true story of a family with a spiritual gift.
PLEASE BRING COLOURED PENCILS IN ALL COLOURS OF THE RAINBOW FOR THE PRACTICAL PART OF THIS SESSION.

David Trimble
The Twelve Blessings from Inner Peace to World Peace
Inner peace leads to spiritual happiness and lasting fulfilment. War could not exist if we were all at peace with our inner selves. And yet, if we are to work for peace, we must sacrifice personal peace to be of active help to those in need. According to the law of karma, this is the true secret to even greater peace.
The Twelve Blessings is a powerful key to achieving both inner peace, and, more importantly – world peace. The blessings were channelled through Dr. George King (1919-1997) – a truly unique medium and spiritual master – by the Master Jesus, an advanced cosmic intelligence.
It is not only a profound teaching but, even more importantly, a dynamic spiritual practice which we can all perform to transform our lives and bring peace and enlightenment to our world.
David Trimble is a highly experienced lecturer and workshop leader on mind, body, spirit subjects. He has made numerous appearances on radio and TV including Sky News. He is a retired businessman and former High Sheriff of Cumbria. David is the Organiser of the Northern UK Branch of The Aetherius Society in Barnsley.

BSSK Mind, Body & Spirit October 2013 Event
"What a venue! Arguably the most spiritual place in the UK to hold a MBS event...The Monastery, Manchester!" BSSK Events
This will be our 9th show at The Monastery, and once again for the October 2013 show, we have stands fitted into every conceivable part of this wonderful building, to bring you a wide range of exhibitors to talk to and explore - some are newcomers to BSSK, drawn by the magic of the event, others BSSK regulars who do many of our shows during a year.
Next we have a huge choice of free lectures throughout the weekend and a wide variety of paid workshops lasting around 2 hours each. These include all manner of exciting things, from psychic development to angels! We use the Private Chapel and various conference rooms in the Monastery for these, some of which seat only small numbers. The two largest rooms are reserved for the free lectures to give the maximum number of free seats, but advanced booking is recommended for all lectures and workshops, even the free ones, to avoid disappointment.
The Monastery has free parking which will be stewarded, overflow parking just across the road, and if that all fills up, there is ample on-road parking in the vicinity. If driving, although only five minutes by car from the city centre, the Monastery is between the outer and inner ring road, so it is not necessary to drive through the city centre, if like me, such a thing would be your worst nightmare!
If taking the train, on reaching Manchester Picadilly, take the local train to a station called Ashbury's. This is the closest to the Monastery. The station called Gorton is actually further to walk. There is also a bus stop right outside the Monastery, with buses every 20 minutes or so.
At previous shows, visitors came from all over the country, even from as far away as Somerset and Aberdeen, and found it certainly worth the trip. Why not book a B&B and have a whole weekend devoted to you - your Mind, Body and Spirit!
