At the Monastery Manchester, we can provide the perfect setting for your wedding day. This magnificent venue is breathtakingly romantic, peaceful and visually stunning, guaranteeing that your special day is truly and occasion to remember.
The Cloister Space, Private Chapel and Main Space are all licensed for wedding ceremonies and civil ceremonies. We can accommodate wedding parties from 50 to 550 guests and the Archangel Garden provides the perfect backdrop for beautiful, memorable wedding photographs.
Our in House chefs source high quality local food to create dishes that are cooked with love and served with soul. This passion spans the entire team and reflects the unique quality of The Monastery itself.
The Monastery is the ideal setting for a variety of specialist weddings including Hindu, Indian and Jewish celebrations. Please contact us for details of our recommended external caterers and the relevant tariff.
We provide free secure on-site parking.

The Monastery is proud to present a fantastic and discounted all-inclusive package for week-day weddings taking place on a Monday to Thursday. Have your ceremony in the iconic Main Space and celebrate with a drinks reception, 3 course dinner, toast drinks, DJ and evening nibbles – all from just £5000.

We are open to the public most Sundays from 12:00 until 4:00pm. Refreshments are available in the Friars Pantry and there is free secure on-site parking.
