Performed by candlelight in the epic setting of the Great Nave of The Monastery, Manchester Camerata are teaming up with the award-winning Nevill Holt Opera to perform a Messiah not to be missed.
The power and beauty of Handel’s rousing ‘Hallelujah’ chorus and ‘For unto us a child is born’ will engulf the incredible natural acoustics of The Great Nave. Dating back to 1742, the performance will transport us back in time away from modern distractions to allow for a moment of stillness, rejuvenation and joy before the holiday period.
