Event Details

We’re delighted to announce that from Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, Bee Well Crafternoons are back for another round, thanks to kind funding from the Manchester Wellbeing Fund.

What are Crafternoons?

Crafternoons will be happening on Thursday afternoons and are all about having fun and being creative with textiles in a friendly and welcoming space, right here at our lovely Monastery, with the fantastic Stitched Up crew!

What kind of crafts can I try?

With the help of Stitched Up facilitator, Sarah, we will be encouraging YOU to shape the course content. We’ll be asking for input on the textile crafts you’d like to learn, and inviting you to share your own skills with the group – if you feel confident to do so (no pressure though!).

How long is the course & who is it for?

Bee Well Crafternoons is a 10 week creative sewing course for adults facing mental health challenges.

What level of skill do I need to join in?

Any level. You don’t need any experience to join in. Experienced crafters are welcome too!

What will the sessions include?

Over the 10 week course we will be learning different textile craft skills, including knitting, crochet, hand and machine sewing, visible mending, darning, embroidery, applique, needle felting and more.

How do I secure my place on the course?

Fancy joining us? We’d love to hear from you. Get in touch for more info or to reserve your place.

Please either email Sarah on hello@stitchedup.coop or call her on 0161 881 7141.

How much does the course cost?

The course is completely FREE thanks to funding from the Manchester Wellbeing Fund.

How do I check if I’m eligible for this free course?

For enquiries or to book, please contact Sarah: hello@stitchedup.coop OR 0161 881 7141
