    Music Hall at The Monastery

    A St. George’s Day Special

Join us at the EXCLUSIVE to Greatdays, Music Hall!

Celebrate St. Georges Day the traditional way with traditional Music Hall entertainment of the 19th century at Gorton Monastery!

The Music Hall tradition in the UK dates back to the 1850s. The ‘halls’ replaced public houses as somewhere to eat, drink, and above all have fun!  We aim to recreate this wonderful tradition on our Greatdays Music Hall event at the Monastery. You will enjoy music made famous by performers such as Marie Lloyd, Max Miller, Gracie Fields and George Formby. Sing along to all of the classics with our fantastic performers, enjoy a sumptuous 3-course luncheon at your table in the Great Nave, and allow us to entertain you!
